About David Vincenzi

My art journey began in the early nineties, where I first delved into the world of surreal oil painting. Subsequently, my interest shifted towards capturing the essence of waterfowl using charcoal as my medium. Later, in 2003, I expanded my repertoire to include various animals, rendered with pastel and pencil, drawing inspiration from my own photographic references from a local rehabilitation zoo.

Recently, my artistic focus revolved around creating custom beloved pet portraits. In this pursuit, I have found a new favorite medium - water-mixable oils - which I believe enhances the detailed style and realism I enjoy producing in my work.

Presently (2025), I am starting a new chapter from my original passion back in the early 90's...surreal oil painting.
